For on site inspections - what all do you inspect?

  • We inspect marine structures for damage and broken welds
  • Barge loading spout 
    • Winches and or drives for spout movement
    • Sheave / all moving parts
    • Missing hardware or broken welds
  • Rigging on spout and barge movement
  • Visual inspection on Conveyor truss connections  
  • Conduit lighting attachments to the structure
  • General safety observations or concerns
  • Compile all the above onto a report that is sent to the customer along with all photo's gathered

What steps and or options are there for a replacement?

  • Evaluate what is existing
  • What is the customers desired result as far as BPH or TPH, What river elevations do you need to operate in
  • 3D model is developed to present options with the customer
  • pricing for customer chosen option
  • Once the decision is made the spout design and construction can begin.  
    • From Purchase order to delivery can be 6 weeks to 6 months depending on the complexity of the final product the customer wants
