The Automatic Barge Draft  Sensor.

Our draft sensors wirelessly communicate barge depth to the base station located by the operator.   This gives the operator live data on all 4 corners of the barge, to help them measure barge draft while loading.   The ease of operating this system from the operator cabin means that you will get an accurate reading without the hassle of constantly checking depth levels.

FEATURES

  • Highly accurate live data on all 4 corners,  in tenths of an inch.  
  • By reporting down to the tenths decibel point allows the operator to see the barge moving.  This is very important in low water to make sure your barge doesn't run into the river bed
  • Allows the operator to make quick decisions on where to put cargo to maximize draft
  • Uses 3 sensors to keep the inside mooring line clear at all times so the barge can be moved to be loaded
  • Sensors can be placed in 24 different configurations to allow for the variety of loadout docks and how docks switch barges in and out
  • Configurable for different barge lengths
  • Waterproof, wireless sensors with extended battery life
  • Easy to use touchscreen Hub
